I’m finally home and resting for the remainder of the year. 2008 has really been fun, exciting, and educational for me as well as those that work with me. Our tour once again visited over 60 cities around the United States and allowed me to teach thousands of people what I know about making money online. It was and still is a surreal feeling to see so many people attend my conferences each and every week.
I do, however, want to take a second to reach out to YOU about something I am very passionate about towards the end of the year. Many children go without on Christmas and it’s honestly just saddening to see that happen year after year. I started a charity called ChristmasForKids (you can read about it on my site) to help purchase gifts for those less fortunate, and get young people involved. However, I am always open to new ideas and new information. Today I was approached by a lady representing the burned children’s association in both Jackson, Ms and Augusta, Ga. She said many children (burn victims) go without during the holidays because their families are just struggling to pay for their medical bills and procedures. So I decided (along with my brother) to sponsor 10 of these children and make sure they have a wonderful Christmas. The program is called “Shop with the Doc” and it benefits the Pediatric Burn Survivors it only cost $150 to sponsor one child.
I challenge YOU to take action in your community. See if there is a similar program available so you can sponsor a child in your area. Remember there are always children who go without, and you can make a difference! I wish you all a wonderful Christmas Holiday!

The past few weeks have been quite a rollercoaster ride for me as well as my staff members. We have driven from Mississippi to Utah to San Diego and now to Las Vegas. We have certainly covered a good part of the country and met many people along the way. I have really enjoyed speaking this year and as I reflect on the entire year I have to say its been a wonderful time.
As I sit here in my bus in Las Vegas, Nevada my mind is on something very important to me. I will be speaking at my old high school (MRA) October 30, 2008 to the senior class. I have about 20 to 30 minutes to deliver a very sound and inspiring message to these kids, and I want to make sure it’s done right. I am use to speaking to people all over the country so standing there in front of 55 kids isn’t going to bother me a bit. I am, however, worried about the message itself. What should I tell a graduating senior? I have some ideas and ill post them in the next few days.
I know that I want to make sure I do my best to inspire these kids to have an entrepreneurial spirit. America needs more business owners providing jobs and income for people in this country. I really hope the message I deliver comes out perfect, and hopefully changes their lives.
Ill keep you posted! Until then it’s back to the conference speaking for me this week in Las Vegas.

Many people ask me for advice on starting a business, making a current business grow, or just investing their money in the right places. I have always told people “invest in yourself” if you really want to become successful. With the proper advice, skills, knowledge, and planning I believe many people can become successful millionaires, and yes I am talking about even the people who never dreamed becoming wealthy would ever happend to them. The difference between the successful millionaires in this country, and those who never achieve that goal is simple: Determination, Motivation, Education, & Mindset.
Everyone knows you must be determined to be successful, and you obviously need to be motivated to succeed. You also need knowledge or “education” in order to properly go after your goal of becoming a millionaire, and being successful in business. However, one of the main things people forget is you must have the right “mindset”. Having the entrepreneurial mindset is the biggest key to launching your own business, and being successful. With our current economy I must ask you this question. Is now the right time?
Think about that for just a minute. Banks are closing down, huge businesses are going under daily, and you can’t turn on the TV without hearing something about the current financial crisis. Yet I am asking you if NOW is the right time to start your own business and go after your entrepreneurial goals. It might seem crazy, but I honestly think now is the perfect time. You probably won’t find yourself as determined and motivated to build a business as you are right now. When things are going great we all tend to fall in what I call a “rut” you wake up goto work and have no worries. It’s kinda hard to really be “driven” or “motivated” to start your own business when your just coasting along. However, when hard times hit you become more aware of your situation and its vulnerability. This creates the perfect drive, motivation, and mindset for success. Thats exactly what happend to me when my father lost his life savings in the WorldCom stock crash.
Instead of buying more stock or investing in more real estate…… why not just invest in yourself?

Well this weekend saw another first for me in my life. I was interviewed for a few minutes on CNN nationwide about how I started a business that was so successful even in today’s economy. I have to say for a minute I was a bit nervous. I have spoken to thousands of people around the country, been interviewed on tv, and produced TV shows of my own, however, I have never been on “national” television. Luckily everything went well and I didn’t mess anything up.
Feeling that bit of “nervousness” made me realize something I forgot years ago and that is new things are sometimes nerve racking. It takes a lot to get me nervous, but I finally found something that does. I now remember how nervous I was when I started my first business, did my first tv show, and my first interview. I want to offer a bit of advice to all young entrepreneur’s and aspiring entrepreneur’s …. Being nervous is ok!
Hopefully some of you saw the interview, but if you didn’t its posted on my News section of the website. Shoot me some feedback if you have time!

I thought I would share one of the “principles to uncovering the entrepreneur in you” that I mention in my new book The Hidden Millionaire. You know so many people are “fearful” of success and what it takes to achieve your goals. One thing it takes to be successful in any business is the ability to take risks. I don’t mean just blindly go out and risk your life savings on some crazy business venture. I do mean you must be able to take a calculated risk, and realize that you have the ability and knowledge to make your venture work. Fear keeps people from doing many things in life, not just entrepreneurial ventures. Overcoming fear is the key to success in life, as well as in business.
I was certainly scared when I started my first business. I had no knowledge, no experience, no track record I was basically just guessing my way through everything. I got lucky and was very successful with my first business, however, each of my future businesses required me taking calculated risks in order to be successful. I never just “guessed” may way through anything after that first business. Success shouldn’t be about luck it should be about knowledge, skill, drive, and determination. Everyone can be successful in life as well as in business.

Well I just arrived home from my visit to Knoxville, TN this week with the conference tour. I have to say each and every week I am just suprised at the things that happen and the people I meet along the way. This week in Knoxville, TN I had people from St. Petersburg, FL, McComb, MS, Little Rock, AR, Cincinnati, OH, and Baltimore, MD fly in to attend my events. I was absolutely blown away that people from all over this country were traveling to see my show, and listen to what I have to say. It still blows my mind to think that people are that interested in what I am saying every week. I realize the knowledge I have can certainly teach people how to make money, but for someone to drive from St. Petersburg Florida! Thats incredible. I want to thank everyone that attended our Knoxville event this week for being extremely warm and welcoming you all made my stay very comfortable and refreshing.
I am now home for the entire month of May. This is the first time since I started the tour in April of 2007 that I have had a complete month long break, and I must say its well needed right now. I am currently putting the finishing touches on my book “I Net Millions” which will be released this year, as well as working on a few other online business ventures. I will also be attending the graduation of my brother Adrian Morrison from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) this month. This is a very exciting time for me because I know great things are in store for him in the future, and I am just ready to see those things unfold.
As always I wish you all continued success in everything that you do, and ill update you as soon as the tour takes back off this year!

Well its official the first quarter northern tour has ended. We wrapped up our tour that took us to Indianapolis, Louisville, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh yesterday in Cincinnati, Oh. I have to say the first part of 2008 has been a very eventful experience, and I personally have learned quite a bit about business. As the CEO of many companies I obviously have many responsabilities, and with those responsabilities comes quite a bit of stress. I am looking foward to having a few weeks off and relaxing with my family for alittle while. In the mean time ill be looking for a new website developer/programmer because the one that has been working with me for the past five years is no longer with me as of today. Change comes with everything in life, and business is no different, however, what defines you as a CEO is how you deal with serious changes. Most people think CEO’s have the least amount of actual work to do in a given day, and I say to those people you absolutely could not be more wrong. The decisions you make as CEO of a company define the company, and its integrity. I am proud to be CEO of the companies I have created, and I look foward to the challenges that I am sure no doubt lie ahead of me. If there is one piece of advice I have for those of you that are now in business for yourself it’s to meet every challenge head on, and always find a way to make something good out of situations that may otherwise seem to be catastrophic to your business. As always I wish you all the best and continued success!
