As you all know I am big on finding “other” ways to generate profits on the Internet. Most of the time I stick to affiliate marketing, but there are so many different ways to generate the traffic to the offers that it offers me (and you) endless opportunity to continue to find new avenues to profit from online. So typically I have been simply doing the following:
Step 1: Select an affiliate offer
Step 2: Place on ad on Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo, Google etc
Step 3: Generate traffic to the offer
Now the above scenario is GREAT! especially if you pay less for the ads than the revenue you generate from the affiliate offer. The only thing about this scenario that always drove me crazy was simply that I always HAVE to pay for traffic. In order for my business to run I must continue to place those ads out there and continue to pay for them in, but I only get to generate a profit from that ad one single time.
Most recently I have really dove in and figured out email marketing. What a game changer that has been for my affiliate marketing company. It has allowed me to change the process to something more like this:
Step 1: Select an affiliate offer
Step 2: Place ads on Facebook, Google, Yahoo etc
Step 3: Generate revenue PLUS build a list
Step 4: Email the list and generate more revenue
See the difference here? on step 4 I can now email the list (at no cost) and generate more revenue BUT I spent nothing on that part of the process. It’s really a game changer because it allows you to generate revenue without spending a single penny on advertising. I am a firm believer that this is something I will always do from here on out in my business. It doesn’t mean ill stop doing the other process because that would be crazy! Basically I am just adding this step of (build a list / email for more profits) into my flow which allows me to maximize my time, efforts and investments.
I know I have pushed out some decent info on email marketing here on my blog and videos blogs over the last month or so, but if you want more information on email marketing I suggest you grab my new course Build, Send, & Profit it lays it all out in a step by step fashion and shows you how I went from making nothing with email marketing to how I am doing it now.
Either way (with or without my course) I suggest you start doing it immediately!
If you want to watch a cool video I did on sending email to make profits – Watch this now

So you’re probably thinking to yourself huh? What in the world does that subject line have to do with marketing, my blog or helping you for that matter. I know it seems kinda out there, but if you’ll read the rest of this post you will understand why “I miss my brother” is such a powerful statement that YOU can learn from immediately. What you learn from this statement can help you generate money in more than just one way. I am going to examine “the ways” to generate money from this statement for you, right now:
1. Engage Your Social Connections - Ok so you’re probably still thinking to yourself huh? Here’s the deal I was up late thinking to myself “man I really miss my brother” the other night so I decided to jump on Facebook and just let everyone know what I was thinking. It’s rare for me to do something like that as I typically keep my Facebook posts business related or at least marketing related. The next day I hop on Facebook and BAM! I have over 80 “likes” on that comment already. Typically that wouldn’t be such a big deal, but with all the changes Facebook has made lately my “likes” have been dwindling like crazy. What was so insane to me is that I made a post the day before about “get your free software” and I didn’t even get 50% of the Facebook likes! This taught me something (and it should teach you the same thing) and that is Facebook and social media shouldn’t be used “only” for business IF you truly want to engage your audience. You absolutely MUST let them know who you are, be personal and actually interact with them. So if you want fans or followers that actually listen to what you have to say it’s probably a good idea to interact on a more personal level. Lesson learned.
2. Clearing Your Mind Creates Masterful Ideas – When something is just weighing on your mind it’s hard to be creative. I suppose that is a bit of a “duh” comment to make, but for me it’s something I didn’t fully realize. Not seeing my brother has been weighing on my mind quite heavily of late. I use to see him literally every single day and now we go sometimes 3 weeks without even seeing each other. It was bothering me a lot more than I thought it was apparently. Once I went and spent some time with him, and made a commitment to myself that I will not go weeks without seeing him again, my mind completely cleared. I’ve been able to work all day and stay focused and I actually fell asleep last night pretty easily, which I haven’t done in awhile. Lesson learned.
3. Seeing Your Family Isn’t Optional – I’ve been burning myself out lately. I have always said “make time for family as well as business”, however, I don’t always live by what I teach. That isn’t a good thing (if it’s good enough for me to teach it well it ought to be good enough for me to live by it) but I am a bit hard headed when it comes to getting work done. I have so many goals, so many aspirations and want so much out of life that sometimes I just push everything aside because I am focused like a laser beam. BAD IDEA. I can’t tell you how much better I feel now that I just spent some time with my brother and the rest of my family. I realize (yet again) that they are far more important than my work, but it’s easy to forget that if you never let your mind process what your doing. I’m even taking a week off to visit Washington, Dc with my girlfriend… she loves “politics” and has always wanted to visit DC. I promised her we would go last June…. a year and a half later I am going to fulfill that promise. Yet another Lesson learned.
So you see what you can learn from this statement? I am sure these things are happening in your lives right now so my advice is don’t make the same mistakes I have made here lately. Hopefully this helps you avoid the little rut I had myself in and keeps your mind free and clear so you can really focus on what’s important in your life.

If you are reading this post, you have taken the first step in your affiliate marketing career. Affiliate marketing is by no means a get rich quick scheme. However, with a little time and effort, you can begin making money from home. All you need is a little understanding of the Affiliate Marketing process.
1. Know Your Target Market
The single most important step you can take when beginning an affiliate marketing campaign is to know your target audience. When you know your market, you can cut advertising costs and streamline your site to appeal to your market. Most advertising sites give you the option to highly target your ads to a specific demographic. When you know your target market, you can take advantage of this and create ads that will reach potential customers.
2. Be Trustworthy and Helpful
If you are going to keep the trust of your customers and make sales, you need to be seen as an expert in your niche. Customers are more likely to purchase products from you if they feel you are an expert in your field. Gaining respect in your niche can be as simple as setting up a Facebook Fanpage or starting a blog. Give your fans useful information on the products in your niche. Answer their questions and let them know that you are there for them. When they trust you, they are more likely to take your advice and purchase products from you.

3. Select Your Products Carefully
You may feel overwhelmed when you first open Click Bank. After all, you have several thousand products from which to choose. It can be very confusing. Take your time and research the products that interest you. It is important to choose products that you have an interest in. When choosing products, you have three choices; One-Time Sales, Residual Income Products and Lifetime Commissions.
One-time sales are often products such as eBooks or One-Time purchase programs. With One-Time sales, you will receive a commission for the sale of the product. Once the product is purchased, you receive no further commissions.

Residual Income Products provide continued income as long as a customer continues to use a service or site membership. These include memberships to sites or services. As long as the membership is in good standing, you will receive payments.
Lifetime Commissions provide continues commissions after the initial sale. You will find Lifetime Commissions with storefronts. With this type of affiliate marketing, each time a customer you bring to the site returns and makes a purchase, you will receive a commission on the sale.
4. Do Not Be Afraid to Switch Affiliate Programs
There are millions of products offered from several different affiliate sites. Do not be afraid to switch the products you market or the programs you are using. If you find that Click Bank does not have the product you want to market, try other programs like Linkshare or Commission Junction. Likewise, if you find that a product is not converting, simply switch products. However, if you choose to switch products, remember to stay in your niche. Your site, blog, social media pages and customer base are targeted for your niche. You need to continue offering products that appeal to their interests.

5. Constantly Change Content
With all the information readily available on the internet, it is hard to keep the interest of your readers. You need to constantly update the content on your site, blog and social media pages. If you find you do not have the time to write blog posts and articles, hire a freelancer to write content for you. Facebook and Twitter accounts need constant new feeds in order to stay relevant and keep fans interests. You will want to post to your wall several times a day. Try running a contest or posting pictures and videos to your wall and encourage your friends and followers to tag the images or re-tweet the content. This will give you a steady stream of content and keep visitors coming to your page.
6. Practice Patience
Successful affiliate programs are not created overnight. They take time. You will not begin making loads of money the instant your site goes live. It can take months for your affiliate program to gain steam and begin bringing in money. This does not mean that your program is not successful. It takes time to gain the trust of your members. They will be giving you their money for products and services and they are more likely to purchase products from you when they feel they know you.
Making money with Affiliate Marketing can be easy if you are willing to put the time into your business. Creating your site and generating visitors is the first step in making money. Take your time. Work on your business daily. With as little as 15 minutes a day, you can be the owner of a successful Affiliate Marketing business.

As an affiliate marketer, Facebook can be your best friend. It is a great way to meet potential customers, nurture a relationship, build your list and ultimately sell products. While you are sure to have a Facebook page up and running, are you getting the most out of your Fanpage? With a few simple steps, you can have a Fanpage that draws in customers and increases your customer base.
Make the Most of Your Profile Pic
When creating your Facebook Fanpage, what type of image did you use? One of the most common mistakes when creating your Facebook is made when you first create your page. Most people think that a profile image is limited to a 200X200 pixel image. However, with the recent changes, the sizes of profile images also changed. While you still have a 200 pixel width restriction, the height limit was raised to 600 pixels. This gives you more room to promote your products or business. Use this additional space to give your readers more information on your business.

Create a Striking Welcome Page
First impressions are everything. The same is true with your Fanpage. When someone visits your page, you want to put your best foot forward and entice them to follow you. Accomplishing this is easy when you create a Welcome Page. You can even create a page for new visitors and a separate page for followers.
Welcome pages for new customers should draw them in with information about your business and products. Give them a sample of the services that you offer. Use every trick in the book to get them to like your page. Pages for existing followers can be used to promote specials, new products and services. This way, everyone that visits your page will get new information helping you increase sales.

Creating a Welcome page is as simple as installing an app. You do not have to have html or web design knowledge. In fact, most Welcome Page apps do not even require a designed page. The most popular apps for Welcome Tab creations are:
- Pagemodo
- Fanpage Engine
- TabSite
- FaceIt Pages
Each of these programs lets you choose a layout, images and wording to create a personalized Welcome Page. The cost of running these apps range from $5-$15 per month, however, Pagemodo allows you to run one welcome page free. It is good to note however that with a paid subscription, you have access to more templates and can several Welcome pages on your Fanpage.
Use Apps to Your Advantage
Facebook Apps are your best friend, at least they should be. There are apps for creating events, sharing YouTube Videos, creating promotions and everything in between. You have access to thousands of apps to make the most of your Fanpage and you should be using them. Some of the most popular apps include:
- Networked Blogs
- Promotes your blog on Facebook and incorporates blog posts on your Facebook wall and Fanpage.
- RSS Grafitti
- Centralizes your posts. With this app, you can sync your Facebook, YouTube and Twitter pages and post to all social networking sites with one click.
- Slide Share
- Shares presentations, photographs, portfolios and videos. This app lets you create presentations, slideshows, and webinars and publishes them to your Facebook Fanpage.
- Twitter App
- Syncs your Facebook and Twitter pages.
- Pagemodo
- Create free Facebook Pages
- Facebook Video
- Supports higher quality video than most video sharing sites.

Creating a Facebook Fanpage is the perfect free advertisement for your business. It does however, take time to gain friends and create a relationship with users. Simply creating a Fanpage is not enough. Make sure your page is optimized to gain the most visitors. Remember, every fan to your Facebook page is a potential customer. Get the most customers you can with these simple tips.

Everyone can be an affiliate marketer. Not everyone can be a successful internet marketer. It takes a lot of work to generate sales. You can’t simply put up a page and expect to start making money. The good news is, with a few tips and a little work; you can be successful and make money from home.
Tip 1 – Size Up Your Merchants
You are only as good as the products you are trying to sell. The products you are selling at only as good as the merchants offering them. You have your choice from thousands of products. Take your time and make sure the merchant you are dealing with is reputable. It is not always the best practice to choose the products that offer the highest commission. Most affiliates choose products based on who pays the highest commissions. This is not always the best practice. When deciding on products, you need to look for merchants that have a good reputation and offer quality products. You also want to look at their sell through rate to find merchants whose products convert easily.

Tip 2 – Find Your Niche
Let’s face it; there are millions of products you can sell. In order to make a sale however, you need to get customers to your site. If you have a site that sells everything from acne cream to xylophone lessons, you will have a hard time getting visitors (and customers) to your site. When you choose a niche, you have a better opportunity to become an expert on your products. When you are perceived as an expert, customers will look to you for advice.
Choosing a niche does not mean that you will only sell one product. You can sell several products that are associated with your niche. For example, if you choose the weight loss niche, you can offer exercise plans, supplements and exercise equipment. Just make sure all of your products fall into your niche.
Tip 3 – Check Your Statistics Frequently
If you are going to be a successful Affiliate Marketer, you need to keep track of your statistics. You need to know if the products you are promoting are selling. Once again, you have unlimited products to choose from. Not every product will sell well. Check you affiliate site daily to see which products are selling. If a product is not performing well, do not be scared to switch products. Statistics are your roadmap to success. Watch it closely and let your business change directions when necessary.

Tip 4 – Use Original Content
One of the biggest mistakes bloggers make is posting duplicate content. Sure, you can find free content for your site from article sites. I do not recommend you use these articles. It is a quick and easy way to get content for your site, but you will be penalized. Search engines scan your site and look for duplicate content. If they find duplicate content on your site, they will move you down the search engine rankings. Additionally, you want to be an expert in your field. When people visit your site, they want original content, not articles that are floating on sites throughout the internet. If you do not have time to write original articles, hire a freelancer to write articles for you. This will ensure you have constantly updated content that is only found on your site.

Tip 5 – Change is a Good Thing
If your site is going to be found, you need to not only rank high on search engines, you need to keep a high ranking. In order to do this, you site needs to continuously evolve. Google searches your site weekly. If your site does not change, the spyders do not search your sight as often and you will drop in the rankings. Likewise, if you do not change your site frequently, visitors will become bored and stop visiting your site. You want to keep your readers interest. Making small changes will keep them coming back to see what is new. This can be as simple as changing articles or running specials. When you change the content on your site, you will keep the readers and the search engines coming back for more.
Succeeding in Affiliate marketing is not as simple as having a website. Anyone can have a web site. You need to work each day to make sure that your business evolves. Use these tips and you can achieve success in Affiliate Marketing.

Hey everyone just writing you this message on a wonderful Saturday morning here at home. I was actually inspired to write this particular blog by some of the recent events taking place in our country. Last week there was a major earthquake on the east coast and would you believe that the news broke (from what I’ve seen) on TWITTER. I could not believe that something so important and so relevant to our country was broadcast first on Twitter. However, it is important for us (myself included) to realize that things like Twitter and Facebook are the new medium. They are the new way to spread news and get your message to millions of people and we need to embrace it.
The trend right now is changing as more and more people use Social Networks like Facebook and Twitter to find out information, report information and just share daily thoughts with other people. Gone are the days when you have to wake up and walk to the front yard to grab your newspaper, now you can just get an app for that on your phone. Most mornings I read the news on my cell phone before I even get out of bed. The Internet and this insane “connectivity” that we now have has simply changed the way we live our lives all the way down to how we wake up in the morning.
It’s a crazy thought, but it’s very true. So with that in mind I want to embrace it (as should you) and start to publish/broadcast more of our information via sites like Twitter and Facebook. As you know last week I ran a contest and gave away $100 on my Facebook Fan pages obviously this was an ethical bribe to get you to join me there so we can keep you updated with the information and trainings I am publishing weekly. This week I am doing the same thing, but on Twitter so here’s how it works.
I am giving away $100 to one Twitter follower – Announcement will be via Twitter so you’ll need to keep watching to find out who wins!
If I can hit 10,000 Twitter followers by September 6, 2011 I will up that to giving 5 people each $100 … therefore increasing YOUR ODDS of winning… you can help me get more followers by simply hitting that RE TWEET BUTTON right above this post.
Simple request. Great ethical bribe… and in the end you and I stay more connected and after all that’s what it’s all about!
Step 1: Re-Tweet this post
Step 2: Follow Me on Twitter (click the Twitter bird below)
Step 3: Watch for the winner to be annoucned!

To My Students,
I want to personally THANK YOU for making the last 2 months so enjoyable for me. We have completed 2 webinar’s (the first 2 I have ever done in my life) and while they haven’t gone off “perfectly” they did get completed. I’ve learned a ton from this experience and I will use that knowledge to try to make each and every webinar I do more enjoyable for you to attend. Someone posted on my Live! Community that I should be sitting around in a hot tub, hanging out and just basically “enjoying life”, but that’s honestly not what I enjoy. I love putting together new training series, videos and now webinars. Call me crazy but I work until 2 or 3am most nights and get up at 9am the next morning and I am pretty much always happy doing it.
It’s part of who I am and I have embraced that fully at this point in my life. I am already planning my 3rd webinar for my students (yeah if you are reading this that means you are included!) and I think it’s going to trump the first 2 by far. Some of the challenging things to planning a webinar (from my limited experience) are:
1. Coming up with an ethical bribe that ROCKS! So you guys will attend
2. Creating killer/interactive videos leading up to the webinar
3. Creating a great email sequence to keep in your mind that the webinar is coming
4. Of course creating the training piece itself
It’s a lot of work. If all of you would just raise your hand now and say “Hey Anthony we will attend all future webinars. You can skip all of those ethical bribes (don’t give away $$) and don’t worry about all those videos. We are motivated! We will attend” then yeah maybe doing webinars would be a little easier and less time consuming ha. We all know that isn’t going to happen though, right? My JOB is to motivate you, inspire you, educate you and make you want more for yourself than you already do. I am committed to doing just that.
My 3rd webinar (which has no firm date yet) is going to ROCK! I am going to do some things you guys have NEVER seen before to motivate you to get on it. The response from our last “Free Training” webinar was so positive I figure I simply can’t go wrong staying in that direction… So stay tuned… stay focused… stay positive and I promise I am going to do my best to help you each step of the way.
Now for the best part…
HERE’S HOW TO WIN $100 THIS WEEK….

I’ve talked quite a bit about Facebook Fan Pages in this blog. Today, I’m going to teach you how to set one up. Once your page is set up, you can scroll through the blog and find important information about how to use your Fan Page.
Let’s get started with setting the page up. Go to Facebook and click on “Create a Page for a Celebrity, Band or Business.”

Now you have to choose the type of Fan Page you want to create. If you run your own business, you will choose “Local Business or Place.” If you’re an affiliate marketer, you will select “Brand or Product.” The exception to this is for affiliate marketers who have created an LLC. If you have actually formed a business, you can choose “Local Business or Place.”

Once you choose what type of page you have, you need to choose a category and name your page. If I’m using my page to sell diet pills, I might name the page “Discount Diet Pills.” On the other hand, if I have my own business, I will use my business name.

Then, you have to agree to the Facebook Pages Terms, and click “Get Started.”
Now you’ll have to sign in with an existing Facebook account, or create a new one. If you already have an account, select “I already have a Facebook account” and enter your email address and password and click “Log in.” if you don’t already have an account, you will need to input some information and create an account.

Once you sign in or set up your account, you will be taken to your Facebook page. The first thing you need to do is upload an image. Select a company logo or a picture that is related to the products you market.
Once you find the picture, click “Upload an Image,” and make your selection.

Then, click “Edit Info.”
From there, you will enter your company overview, about section, description, product list and more. We will give you some great tips for optimizing this section in the next post. For now though, enter your information and click “Save changes.”
Now you have a Facebook Fan Page.
HERE’S HOW TO WIN $50 THIS WEEK….

If you have a fan page on Facebook, you know how important it is to build your fan base. You want more fans so you can get your message out to more people. Fortunately, there are several ways to build your fan base quickly. A Facebook landing page is one such option.
What is a Facebook Landing Page?
A Facebook landing page is a static page that contains marketing information. You can have non-fans and/or fans enter your site via the landing page. This page gives you total control of the look and feel so you can brand it accordingly. Facebook Fan Pages are pretty much taking the place of “profiles” for anyone looking to use Facebook to build their business. Additionally Fan Pages are completely free and extremely easy to setup!

Unlike your wall that contains user-generated content, you will be able to control everything that appears on your landing page. This will help you boost your fan base. After all, people are more likely to “Like” a page if they see this:

Than they are if they see this:

What the Landing Page Should Look Like
Now that you understand the importance of a landing page, it’s time to go over what your page should look like. Your landing page should include your company message and logo, if you have one. Additionally, it should give people a reason to click on your page. Maybe you are giving away a free report to Facebook fans, or fans get instant access to your email list. Whatever the case may be, you need to give them a reason to click on the “Like” button. We will go over some tips for this in a later post. You can also use the apps (listed in my last blog post) in conjunction with your Fan Page. It’s really a one stop place to connect everything with your fans. My current Fan Page model works like this:
I post to my Fan page
- it automatically send thats to my Twitter account and posts it there (using that Twitter app)
- it list it in the “Twitter Feed” on my Fan page
I post a video to Youtube
- it automatically post that to my Fan Page
- it list it in the Youtube section and let’s people like the videos!
I post a blog here on my blog
- it automatically post that to my Fan Page
- it automatically post it to my “network blogs” on Facebook
As you can see it allows you to take all of your fans/customers and push content to them all in one central location. Fan Pages just simply ROCK! If you don’t have one create one now, if you do have one make sure to install these apps so you can take full advantage of what Facebook Fan Pages can do for you and your business.

Our $50 Winner this week is Jean Pertick says: June 18, 2011 at 8:55 am WOW! New information for us. Thank you for posting this. I WILL be learning all of this as fast as I can. Congrats Jean! Please email me immediately with your information so I can ship you your $50 gift card.
If you have a Facebook Fan Page, you have access to countless Facebook apps. These apps will help you promote your business, get more fans and turn your page into a great marketing tool. While there are hundreds of great apps, I’m going to go over the five essential apps you need to include on your Facebook Fan Page.
Before I get into the different types of apps, I’m going to explain how to get them. Just go to the Facebook App Directory at http://www.facebook.com/apps/directory.php. Once there, click on “Business” and you will see the different apps for your Facebook Fan Page. Now that you know how to access the apps, we are going to go over the top five.
Fan Offer

This app is a great way to build your fan base. You will create an offer or a coupon. Then, the Fan Offer app will build a welcome page for “non-fans.” Non-fans will enter your Facebook page via the welcome page. The page will tell non-fans that they just have to “Like” your page to receive the offer or coupon. Once they “Like” the page, they will receive the special offer.
You have to pay $19 a month to use this app. If you learn how to monetize your fan base, $19 is a small price to pay for new “Likes.”
You could also have someone just custom create a “welcome” page for your Facebook Fan Page. Check out my Fan page (and like it if you haven’t!) mine has no monthly fee, but I did pay someone a decent amount up front to get it done like this.
Become An Anthony Morrison Fan on Facebook – Right Now
