Solo Ads – Alone in the Field for Profit
Just like the only tree in a giant field full of cattle that offers shade on a hot day, being the only advertisement in an email that goes out to an email list of hot prospects will bring them to your offering. Solo ads are advertisements run as the only ad in an email to an established list of prospects already determined to be interested in the advertisement’s product or service niche.
Don’t stop reading just because you don’t have that list of prospects, as we’re going to tell you how to get to as many targeted prospect lists as you want. It doesn’t matter what your product or service, as long as it’s in demand and your timing is right. It doesn’t matter whether you have even one email prospect, as you can connect with thousands in your niche market demographic, and you can do it quickly.
This isn’t a widely advertised Internet marketing strategy simply because few people are doing it. However, those who are using solo ads have been doing very well in a market that’s not over-crowded with marketers with no clue as to how to accomplish their goals. In fact, even when some take a first look at the strategy, they quickly see that they don’t have the knowledge to pull it off, as there are some skills required:
- Using Google trends with a focus on trends that have some staying power and immediacy.
- Knowing which characteristics of Clickbank products make them winners for this strategy.
- Understanding how to use Alexa to find the right products.
- Using Google’s Keyword Tool to locate keywords/phrases with the right characteristics.
- Finding the right bloggers and blogs with the right audience for your niche.
- Approaching these bloggers and negotiating ad placement.
Their hesitation is your profitable new business. All of those skills and a process to bring them together is all you need. You’re the “market-maker” and the catalyst who uncovers the potential in certain products. You also learn to make timing and trends work for you. It’s a well-known marketing fact that trending events, news and interest drive sales. Locating, evaluating and timing these trends puts your product in front of your prospects when they’re going to be at their highest interest levels. Once you’ve identified the right products to advertise, the right time to do it, and the appropriate blogs with your most interested audience, you have a successful solo ad campaign ready to go out.
Many of our marketing students have pointed out the blogger selection piece as critical to their success. You can locate the right product, hot and trending, time your campaign to take advantage, word your ad perfectly, and you can still waste time and money. The process and secrets for locating the right blogs with the best email prospects can make the difference between a losing campaign and awesome profits. We’ve perfected every phase and facet of solo ad marketing, so let us propel you to success.
