Anyone Can Learn – Anthony Morrison

March 31st, 2008   posted by admin in Entrepreneurship

I have decided that I will attempt to write on my blog every day while I am home for the next couple of weeks. I think this is a great way for me to share my story as well as my experiences with the world. I know many of you read my blog every day hoping either to learn something new about me, or to see the updates for our Hidden Millionaires tour. However, this post is not really going to be about me, my business, or even the Hidden Millionaires tour. This post should help everyone get in the right mindset to be successful, and here is what I mean by that. Two weeks ago I decided to do something I have literally never done before, read a book. Not just any book, but a book by a 23 year old entrepreneur, Cameron Johnson. It is completely unlike me to read a book let alone one about entrepreneurship, but I was absolutely compelled to read his book. The book is pretty straight forward as it clearly outlines his life story and how business has taught him many lessons along the way. When I was reading his book I felt like I was reading my own book “I Net Millions”, which will be released in 2008. His story is so much like mine from the time he bought and sold stocks as a teenager all the way to his internet business empire.  The only thing that sets us apart is “why” we ventured into the world of entrepreneurship. I must admit when I began reading the book I felt like I was in for a nice story, but wasn’t going to learn anything I didn’t already know about business. I was completely surprised at the end to find that I actually learned quite a few things from a fellow young entrepreneur that I can now use and implement into my own businesses. I learned a good lesson here, and that is you can learn from anyone if you simply give yourself the chance. I suggest everyone read his book I think you will find the book extremely informative as well as motivational. You can learn more about it at www.YouCallTheShotsBook.com

Advice,Thoughts, & Concerns – Anthony Morrison

March 30th, 2008   posted by admin in Entrepreneurship

Well I am finally back home with my family! I’ve spent the past 5 weeks in the northern part of the country on my Hidden Millionaires tour. Obviously I met thousands of people, and as usual I found a way to learn something from each and every person I spoke to this month. I received an interesting question from someone that attended one of my events last week, and I want to share it along with the answer with you right now. I was finishing up my last show in Cincinnati, Oh when an older man asked me “Why do you do this? Why do you travel the country and teach people what you know? Your making so much money sitting at home why do this?” that’s obviously a question I get quite often when I am on the road, however, this time it struck me in a somewhat different way. It was almost as if this man was in complete disbelief that I would want to “work” when I don’t really have to. Honestly I don’t have to do what I do, but I have my reasons and ill share them with you now.
There are many things that I feel strongly about in life, and what to share with as many people as I possibly can each and every day. What better platform to get that done than a nationwide Hidden Millionaires tour? I meet thousands of people every single month that actually listen to what I have to say. It allows me to influence thousands of people with the things I feel are extremely important in life. Yes I am there to teach them how to make money, and motivate them to be successful by thinking successfully. However, I am also there to influence people to realize there are other things in life that are important. Each week I get to share my Christmas For Kids (www.christmasforkids.com) story with thousands of people across the country. I share with them how important it really is to give back to those who are less fortunate. No matter what your situation is in life there is always someone who has it worse, and could simply use some help. Children have always been important to me I grew up babysitting one of the sweetest little girls you will ever meet. It taught me to have compassion at a very young age, and I think that is an absolutely wonderful characteristic to posses. I realized that children have absolutely no control over the situation they are born into, and they certainly have no way of changing it at a young age. I always knew when I got older, became successful, and was in the position to help that I would do exactly that. Now that I have been able to help provide Christmas gifts for children in the Mississippi area for the past 2 years I am looking for ways to expand that across the country. By speaking about this in my events I am touching people and watching them with my own eyes as they realize the importance of giving, and thinking about other people. I had a lady interview me last week from the Associated Press and she said “Your story about the children at Christmas made me realize I don’t do enough. I currently take gifts to an elderly person’s home each year, but I realize now I could do more, and I could help out some children”. This is exactly the kind of influence that gives me the drive to continue doing what I do. So when you ask me why I do this? Why do I teach people around the country? Why do I work? I would simply ask that you reference what that lady said to me and ask yourself this question. “Would I work if I knew I could provide a positive influence on thousands of people each week that could result those same people reaching out and helping other people who really need it?”

Northern Tour Ends

March 28th, 2008   posted by admin in News

Well its official the first quarter northern tour has ended. We wrapped up our tour that took us to Indianapolis, Louisville, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh yesterday in Cincinnati, Oh. I have to say the first part of 2008 has been a very eventful experience, and I personally have learned quite a bit about business. As the CEO of many companies I obviously have many responsabilities, and with those responsabilities comes quite a bit of stress. I am looking foward to having a few weeks off and relaxing with my family for alittle while. In the mean time ill be looking for a new website developer/programmer because the one that has been working with me for the past five years is no longer with me as of today. Change comes with everything in life, and business is no different, however, what defines you as a CEO is how you deal with serious changes. Most people think CEO’s have the least amount of actual work to do in a given day, and I say to those people you absolutely could not be more wrong. The decisions you make as CEO of a company define the company, and its integrity. I am proud to be CEO of the companies I have created, and I look foward to the challenges that I am sure no doubt lie ahead of me. If there is one piece of advice I have for those of you that are now in business for yourself it’s to meet every challenge head on, and always find a way to make something good out of situations that may otherwise seem to be catastrophic to your business. As always I wish you all the best and continued success!

Anthony Morrison – Tour Update

March 20th, 2008   posted by admin in News

Well its about 1:30 AM and I am up answering some support tickets from my bus outside my hotel in Pittsburgh, Pa. I have to say this trip here has been very unique. There are quite a few things that have happend here that have never happend anywhere else. Pittsburgh has been a great area to visit, and the people are absolutely wonderful. It’s been raining the entire time I have been here, and tonight it started snowing. I can’t seem to get away from the snow for the past 4 weeks now its just been following me from state to state and city to city. I guess I regret those times I use to sit at home and tell my parents “hey I wish I lived in a state where it snows”….. I am certainly changing my mind FAST.  I do have to say that I have met some very interesting people the past few weeks, and I wish them all the best and continued success using my program. As I finish up this tour up north I consider myself lucky and blessed to have met so many people and shared my experience with them, as well as learned from them their life experiences. I think its very important in life to stop for a second and list to what others have to say. Sometimes the teacher himself can learn alot from the students if he just listens.

Anthony Morrison Update

March 14th, 2008   posted by admin in News

I just left Indianapolis Indiana after doing 6 events this week. I must say that the past 3 weeks have been really wonderful for me personally. I have had literally hundreds of people speak to me at our live events about the post I made below. I am overwhelmed by the support and comments each and every one of you have shared with me. The emails, comments, and the conversations in person have made me realize I shouldn’t let one or two people saying rude things about me get me so down. I am obviously very lucky to be supported by so many of you around the country. Once again I appreciate you all. I am finishing up the last few events for the first quarter  tour and look foward to the rest of the year and what it has to bring not only me, but also my students.

Tour Update by Anthony Morrison

March 4th, 2008   posted by admin in News

Well its March 3, 2008 and I am sitting in Cleveland, OH preparing for our  event that will take place for the rest of the week. Alot has been going on in my life for first couple of months this year, and for the first time I am starting to see that being on national television has its perks, but it also has its downfalls. I have been doing the seminars for almost a year now, and honestly have had no complaints by my students what so ever. However, there are a couple of people who have given me some labels that I don’t take to kindly to at all. A few people that have said things about me that certainly make me mad. I guess out of the thousands and thousands of people I have met accross this country in the past year to have 2 people say something negative about me should be considered wonderful, but for me it isn’t at all. I pride myself on having integrity, honesty, and good character. My dad use to tell me when I was just a little kid that if you dont have good character you have nothing at all. I have lived my entire life by that exact statement, and I will continue to do so for the rest of my days. So for all of you out there that have had the chance to meet me I welcome your comments on me, my family, and my conference. For the couple of you that have stated things about me that are untrue it shows lack of character, lack of integrity, and lack of class on your part. As I move foward with my 2008 tour ill continue to exhibit good character, integrity, and treat every situation and person I meet with the utmost respect and class. To those of you in the mid-east that will be seeing me on TV over the next 5 weeks I welcome you to our  conference, and I welcome your opinions about me. I feel truely blessed to have met so many people during the past year, and I know what is in store for me this year is going to be absolutely wonderful.
